St David’s C.B.S.

"A quality education for each student."

Sport plays an integral part of the school life in St. David’s CBS. Key values such as teamwork, leadership, determination and sportsmanship are developed and actively encouraged during a student’s participation in our physical education programme and through their involvement in the various sports available.

Rugby was introduced to St. David’s CBS in 2015 and we have made great strides as a newcomer to the sport. Students have excelled in this sport and their demonstration of both skill and team work is outstanding.

Soccer is a relatively new sport in St. David’s CBS (2016) and has experienced great success at senior level. We are all very excited for what the future holds for our talented young players coming through into senior level.

The school’s basketball programme has been very successful at both junior and senior level and training is after school throughout the year. Our senior players play a very active role in mentoring our junior level players.

Here at St. David’s we’re in the fortunate position of being one of the few schools in the country that has a climbing wall. Available for use to complete beginners and accomplished competitors alike, the climbing club has been a valuable part of the school community for a number of years. The school competes in the national schools climbing competition, winning the senior cup in two of the past three years.
